SINOPEC Changling Company is situated in Yueyang, Hunan
Province, alongside the Dongting Lake and the Yangtze River. In the south
runs the Beijing-Guangzhou railway, the 107th national highway and Beijing-Zhuhai
expressway. So the traffic is more convenient by land and water. It is
a large-scale petrochemical enterprise of SINOPEC Corp.in central China.
Changling Companys products are mainly sold in Hunan, Hubei, Guangxi,
Guangdong, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces.
In April 2000, in accordance with the requirement of SINOPEC Corp.s reforming
and reorganizing, Changling Company is established and derived from the
main body of original Changling Petroleum Processing & Chemical complex.
At present, Changling Company has 21 sets of petrochemical processing
units consisting of 2 ADV units, 2 FCC units, Delayed Coking unit, Catalytic
Reforming unit, Hydrogen & Hydrotreating unit and Polypropylene (PP)
unit. It has the annual crude oil processing capacity of 5 million tons,
the annual output 70,000 t/a of PP unit, 2.2 million t/a of FCC unit,
800,000 t/a of Delayed Coking unit and 500,000 t/a of Catalytic Reforming
unit. Meanwhile, during the ninth five-year plan period, No.2 Sewage treatment
unit has been built with the capacity of 1000t/h which can enhance the
deep processing capacity and guarantee high quality products with more
varieties which extend to downstream petrochemical products rapidly. It
mainly produces more than 60 kinds of products including gasoline, diesel,
naphtha, BTX, LPG, solvent naphtha and PP. 17 kinds of products were entitled
with the provincial or ministerial high quality products. Among them,
both the exported superior light diesel and 6# extraction solvent naphtha
have won the National Gold Medal while some other products such as benzene,
xylene and 120# solvent naphtha, etc. have won the National Silver Medal
.
Changling Company always persists in seeking development by technological
progress and has formed its own advanced technological features,which
provide strong technical support to the growth of the company. At present,
petrochemical processing units have formed a certain scale with a complete
technology system and flexible process ways. Changling Company has realized
integration of petroleum refining and chemical processing. It has stronger
capability of residue deep processing and ripe hydrofining technology
with appropriate processability, which can meet the requirements of clean
fuel processing. After technology revamping, units now can process crude
oil with high sulfur content, and has high adaptability to variable feeds.
It has developed a series of national up-to-date refining technologies,
such as low temperature power station, gas oil recovery, air-tight oil
products loading, and one tower sewage stripping. On the other hand, the
first set of domestic PP unit has been built which utilizes the loop reactor
polymerization technology. We always pay much attention to improving traditional
business with information technology, and have made significant effects
on research and application of ERP and ACP technologies.
